like i needed something else to take me away from my life and make me sit down in front of the computer. so recently i've been really addicted to tudou and just watching a whole bunch of mentore g and domoto kyodai episodes. doesn't sound too bad right? well it's pretty bad if it means staying up till 2 am laughing at how adorably dumb/perverted tokio and kinki kids are. especially when it's near the end of the semester and i have projects and exams to study for. what makes it worse is i get away with it. i put off studying or doing the projects but i still manage to get a good grade. it's furthering and quite possibly encouraging my bad habit.
good thing the semester is over in 2 weeks and then a whole month for winter break! that means my friends and i will be reunited and they can keep me away from je and the internet. but if i don't get it out of my system during the break, wouldn't it mean it'll strike me again when school starts?! and i've just started figuring out the right things to type in when searching for tokio stuff. oh jeez this is worse than if i were a drug addict. at least then, the effects would be visible to my friends and families and they'd stop me eventually.
they came! smap finally invaded my dreams! and it was my two favorite men too! ah i never expected nakai and goro-chan to be in my dream. it wasn't really romantic though. we were playing dodgeball. haha. at least we were on the same team. anyways, I was on the sideline with nakai and goro was the last one standing on our team. and we were both marveling at how it was goro. then i started talking about how his hair is too long now and he needs to cut it.
nakai: "he's trying to hide his receding hairline"
me: "what? he doesn't have one."
nakai: "i have one too. that's why i'm always wearing hats."
me: "you guys are dumb. you guys act like your 70 or something. show me this receding hairline."
so then i try to grab nakai and pull back the hair on his forehead to see. the whole time he's protesting and saying "yada" finally he gives in and i pull back his hair.
me: "it's a normal forehead. like i said, you guys are crazy."
he gets embarrassed and playfully gives me a head lock. yeah, so romantic. lol. then suddenly we hear "we won! goro won for us!" we both look at each other in disbelief and say "goro?"
an unromantic dream is better than none i guess. and goro got to be a good athlete too!
credit cards are truly dangerous. in the words of aiba "danger, danger. very danger." it's just a little piece of plastic yet it can do so much damage. the thing with credit cards is, you can buy just about anything with them and the cash in your wallet will still remain the same. so you don't SEE how much you are spending and everything seems like such a good deal. i brought my friend along to curb my spending but she ended up being the one encouraging me to spend. saying things like "oh it's only so-and-so dollars and it's so worth it!" =________= after the third store, i walked around with such a heavy burden on my heart. thank god i did not go to book off or else i would have spent so much more money on cds and dvds.
in this one i was talking to inocchi and asking him how life is after being married. all of this happened while we were walking across a big grass field to class. half-way through inocchi said "ah now i know why they use golf carts on golf courses. it is too tiring to walk across such a big area!" every time i brought up marriage all he could do was giggle like a little boy.
what does this all mean? i need to do something interesting that does not involve school OR je. because seriously, that is pretty much all i do lately
what a weird dream!! so in my dream i was at college. and for my class i was responsible for taking roll for V6 and tegoshi and shige from NEWS. and i was talking to yui aragaki and saying to her "has nagano been going to class?" i hadn't been taking roll daily so i was making up the attendance. and we got to shige and tegoshi's name. then i sighed and said "look at shige, he comes everyday and tries so hard. he really tries so hard ne. poor guy." and then for tegoshi i said "man i don't really like him. he started out as a little boy when he debuted and turned into a little girl. don't you think he's too girly?" in comes shun and he takes the attendance sheet from me and says "here, let me do it for you." and starts randomly filling in absences and making weird 'poosh' noises with his mouth while doing so. for some reason this is really funny to me and i start laughing. then he starts laughing too. for some reason yui aragaki got annoyed and said "you guys are dumb."
cut to night time and for some reason the three of us sleep in the same room. this is the sleeping arrangement.
yeah, apparently me and shun sleep in the same bed but it's totally platonic or at least not at "that" sorta stage. so shun's asleep and yui starts to get jealous with me, starting an argument. i don't remember the details but at one point yui says "at least i'm not in love with him even though it's unrequited." at this point shun is awake without me knowing it because my back is facing him. i yell back "so what, i like the feeling and it's fun!" hearing this shun smiles. "I liked him way back when he was in high school (when he was in gokusen) and not super popular." i said to yui. so the argument goes on and gets louder and shun says "you guys, stop." and we both turn to him and say "we're arguing here so be quiet!" finally yui says calmly "it's probably best if i move out. like this, all we do is fight over shun and i end up feeling sorry for myself and you're always crying." shun: "what? you're not the type that would feel sorry for yourself and she doesn't cry that easily.....right?" the both of us "obviously you don't know us that well shun."
and that's when i wake up, with the dream unresolved. i hate when that happens. even if it's just a dream i would like to know the conclusion! lately random japanese idols have been popping up in my dreams. none of them arashi or smap though!
well, i'm in the mood for acoustic/live lately so that means tokio!
the thing with je groups is, they spread faster than any plague known to man. you know one group, you'll soon learn about the others. this is sorta a ranking thing of my favorites and the familiarity level.
1. THE ICHIBANS - the ones i know most and devote the most time
SMAP - the rankings would be 1. nakai, goro; with nakai having a slight edge over goro. 2. kimura 3. tsuyoshi 4. shingo
-sorry shingo, in rankings there always has to be a last place. i love all of SMAP but if i had to rank them in order of how much i like them (not an indication of dislike either), that's how they would rank.
Arashi - 1. matsujun 2. nino, ohno, aiba (no particular order) 3. sho
arashi's actually my very first group. the only reason why they rank below SMAP is because i have a thing for men in their 30s....so it's not a personal flaw of arashi, just bad luck that they were born later than SMAP. lol. matsujun is the one that introduced me into the world of jdoramas AND je. it was the last scene of the third episode of gokusen where he was talking to uchi (oguri shun) that sucked me into the world of jdoramas. he's the worst singer in the group (it's ok though), nino has usurped his title as best actor in the group (nino really grew a lot as an actor, and quickly too, after yasashii jikan), aiba always beats him at being adorably baka, leader is probably the better athlete and dancer, yet he's still my number 1. maybe it's a sense of loyalty or sentimentality because he's the VERY FIRST johnny's ever. lol
2. THE SECOND THOUGHTS/BACK-UPS - the ones i know pretty well and whose shows i watch if i don't have any new stuff from smap or arashi.
ikuta toma - it's the friendliness and perseverance and of course, tomapi. i always root for the underdog/second fiddle.
v6 - 1. go 2. nagano 3. okada 4. sakamoto 5. inohara 6. ken
go - punk, shorty, "bad boy", high pitched laugh, baka, always teased = love. sometimes my choices even shock myself.
nagano is quite a hottie...and his food hobby is adorable.
okada's gorgeous, has a deep sexy voice and so shy.
sakamoto - un-leader leader with the old man syndrome that has an amazing voice.
inohara - the squinty-eyed manchild who can sing.
ken - boy that never ages face and voice wise.
kinki kids - i like them both equally. i like tsuyoshi's funkiness, sarcasm, and mellowness. for koichi i like his bad jokes that don't always work.
tokio - 1. taichi 2. tomoya 3. mabo joshima yamaguchi
taichi - maybe i have a thing for short people that make smart-ass remarks or something. lol. probably one of my favorite moments was when he was on utaban for toraji and haiji and nakai said "don't you always only sing 'fuuu, waaa'."
tomoya - the looks, the height, the roughness, the baka thoughts, the perverted thoughts, that full body laugh
joshima - also suffers from the old man syndrome, stories of his days as the person that separated the sequined costumes so they wouldn't get tangled says it all
mabo - so very manly..and the way he looks when he plays the drums -swoons-
yamaguchi - one word, sportsman
3. I KNOW WHO'S IN THE GROUP AND MIGHT LIKE SOME OF THEM - unlike the previous two categories, i don't like all of the members and probably only know 1 or 2 in a group
NEWS - 1. shige 2. pi 3. ryo
it might be because of pity because nobody knows who he is but shige's my favorite. lol. pi - sometimes i like him and sometimes i don't. also influenced by tomapi interactions. ryo - another smart-mouthed shorty
txt - i only seem to like them a lot during nakai's samurai skits
kanjani 8 - 1. subaru 2. yokoyama 3. ryo
well subaru, it's mostly because of the glasses. and yokoyama, seemingly the loudest one but is actually very shy and quiet in private.
from this week's utaban
he says one sentence yet for some reason i find this moment so hot. maybe it's the way he says it, or the way his face looks. i dunno. it's just so sexy. "yatta hou ga ii na" - you should do it. what a sexy sentence. lol
i think it's a combination of the angle, the curve of his mouth, the look in his eyes, and his neck and jawline. yeah, i think that's it.
"Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai" is described as a love comedy. Inagaki and Koyuki play the Sasakis, two lawyers with opposite personalities. They've been married for three years, but their heated quarrels lead them to the courtroom to settle a possible divorce, with the two representing themselves.
Their domestic battles are one of the highlights of the show, says producer Masanao Takahashi. He mentioned that the couple nearly gets into fistfights. Viewers will even get a chance to see Inagaki in a wrestling uniform (his character was part of his university's wrestling club).
TBS has lined up a supporting cast that includes Keisuke Koide, Wakana Sakai, Masahiko Nishimura, and Makoto Fujita as staff members of the legal office. Koji Yamamoto has been cast as one of Inagaki's university classmates, while Arata Furuta plays one of Koyuki's close friends, a gay masseur.
Filming begins at the end of November. The show will air on Sundays at 9:00pm, starting in January.
